Terms and Conditions

Your responsibilities

1] You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account you use to access our Services. For the avoidance of doubt, you agree that you will not share, disclose and permit any other person to use your account or password to access our services without our permission. Accordingly, you agree that you will be solely responsible for all activities that occur on your account.

2] You agree that any registration information you give to Focus and Achieve will always be accurate, correct and current. It is your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date including emails as these will be used to maintain communication with you. After completion of your course, we will send your certificate to the address you or your representative has supplied.

3] Your role and responsibilities are to fully participate in assessment and learning activities.

4] You agree to be a genuine learner and work hard to achieve your qualification. You are enrolling to earn your qualification, not to buy one.

5] You agree that you will only be entitled to certification if all learning outcomes, assessment criteria and course requirements have been met.

6]You agree to be honest and ensure access to your work-based evidence is provided when required. You are obliged to provide information about your employment or volunteer opportunities when enrolled on a work-based qualification.

Payment

7] You agree to pay for all services provided. All instalments have to be paid on time which is normally every month. Coursetopia reserve the right to pause your assessments and enrolment if your payments remain outstanding. All instalments to be paid by the same method you have used to pay your initial payment.

8] No certificate will be requested for any candidates owing any course fees. We also reserve the right not to make you aware of any assessment and quality assurance outcomes.

GDPR

9] You consent to give us permission to process your data which includes your name, date of birth and other demographics as part of registering you with our awarding bodies. Your details can be shared with our regulators including employment details when enrolled on competency qualifications. The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018 remain in place to protect your data and define how it will be stored and used. More information regarding the use of your date is defined in our privacy policy.

Delivery of Service

10] Coursetopia will aim to deliver all training in line with all our Terms and Conditions. We however reserve the right to make some changes at any time and without notice as part of responding to any standardisation, quality assurance, applicable law or regulatory requirements.

11] We do not accept any responsibility for any impact on our services due to acts of God or incidents beyond our control such as regulatory requirements.

12] We shall not be liable for the content of or any omissions from the Web site, including any inaccuracies, errors or misstatements in the data available. We do not commit to ensuring that the web site remains available or that the material on the web site is kept up-to-date. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of any event or events beyond our reasonable control. This includes weather conditions, strikes, natural disasters or terrorism events.

13] We reserve the right to cancel any of our training, without incurring additional liability. In such circumstances, at our sole discretion will offer alternative dates or refund.

Intellectual Property Rights

14] Unless you have been specifically permitted to do so in a separate agreement with Coursetopia, you agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate or copy, or sell, trade, resell or otherwise commercially exploit, any of our resources and Services, or any part for any purpose.

Jurisdiction

15] You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising or in connection with these terms and conditions.
