Training in Teaching (Teaching Qualifications)

Coursetopia delivers a number of teaching qualifications (Teacher Training Courses) from level 3 to 5. Our teaching courses are delivered online or by blended learning. These education and training courses allow you to get in to teaching without a degree and inspire the next generation of learners. These teaching training courses are recognised nationally and, in some countries, internationally. Our education and training qualifications have been around for over a decade starting from the predecessor PTLLS, CTLLS and DTLLS awards.

Our training for teachers courses have an emphasis of professionalism and good practice including meeting needs and being inclusive. The teacher trainer courses will enable you to understand pedagogy and balance theories and practice.

Achieving the Level 5 Diploma in education will enable you to apply for QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) building on your reflective skills and professionalism. Holders of QTLS are recognised as qualified teachers in the United Kingdom. In order to apply and achieve QTLS you will need to contact the Society of Education and Training. There is no such a thing called a QTLS Course or qualification.

QTLS can only be met by applying directly to the Society of Education and Training (SET) as a member. As part of gaining QTLS you will need to go through professional formation for about 4 to 6 months where you will need to prove you have practiced as a teacher and embraced all 20 professional standards. SET will normally expect you to be teaching for a minimum 2 hours per week.
