Reasonable Adjustment
We aim for our courses to be accessible to everyone in line with our inclusive and equality policies. We also adhere to our reasonable adjustment policy where when we identify a need, we will work with you to facilitate your learning. Normally our reasonable adjustment policy is instigated when you tell us you have additional needs during your initial assessment. Each learner is entitled to request an assessment for reasonable adjustment at any time when there is a change affecting their learning.
Purpose of reasonable adjustment
Our reasonable adjustment policy is not designed to give you an unfair advantage or undermine the credibility of our courses. Supporting evidence along with information you have been supported during previous support or by your employer will help with reaching a decision. After assessment of your reasonable adjustment application there might be a recommendation for further time, more support, change of assessment method or any other suitable method. Awarding body approval might be required for all complex situations. You will be expected to actively participate in all assessment and support activities. Learning outcomes and the assessment criteria will still need to be met. We will work with you to create a fair inclusive learning environment.
