What is Guided Learning Hours?
This is the expected time that a learner is expected to require support in order to complete successfully a course or qualification. This can include being taught, supervised or instructed by an assessor, tutor or another person who facilitates learning and development within an organisation. Guided learning can take place face-to-face or online.
Purpose of Guided learning Hours
Course providers on the other hand can use this as evidence of delivery and providing support. Guided learning can be used by learners to demonstrate how they have met learning outcomes. All units under the RQF have allocated Guided Learning Hours.
